Hydrodynamic spindle bearings, hydrodynamic guideways in the X-axis and the finely tuned interplay of all components sum up to an achievable accuracy of 1 micron with this machine.

- Spindles and grinding spindles are also ground on GU-/GUN-machines with tolerances of less than 0.002 mm.
